SUMMARY:Call for photo works!
DESCRIPTION:Galeria SH zaprasza Studentów i Wykładowców zainteresowanych fotografowaniem do wzięcia udziału w fotograficznej wystawie tematycznej dotyczącej studiowania na styku różnych kultur. \nNa naszej uczelni studiuje wiele osób z różnych zakątków świata. Na co dzień spotykamy ich w korytarzach\, poznajemy na wspólnych zajęciach akademickich. Nawiązują się znajomości\, przyjaźnie. Uczymy się ich kultury i zwyczajów a oni naszego funkcjonowania w kulturze\, zastanej na Uczelni\, w Szczecinie\, w Polsce. \nNiech ta wystawa fotograficzna będzie przyczynkiem do pokazania podobieństw i kulturowych różnić. Niech pokaże przyjaźnie\, znajomości czy zwykłe życie\, które dla jednych jest bardzo naturalną codziennością a dla innych może być niezwykle ciekawą i pobudzającą wyobraźnię egzotyką. Studenci z innych krajów\, pokażcie nam siebie\, swoją kulturę\, to co Was w Polsce zachwyca a co zadziwia. Studenci rodzimi\, pokażcie swoje studiowanie w towarzystwie osób z innych\, czasami bardzo odmiennych kultur. \nWybierzmy się we wspólną podróż dookoła świata przez pryzmat życia zatrzymanego w fotograficznych kadrach. Otwarcie wystawy nastąpi w trakcie trwania w Międzynarodowego Dnia Studentów przypadającego na 20 listopada br. \nPrace w formie cyfrowej\, opatrzone imieniem i nazwiskiem twórcy/twórców oraz tytułem prosimy wysyłać na adres kuratora Galerii SH: mikolaj.materne@usz.edu.pl do dnia 11 listopada 2024 włącznie. \nNadesłane zdjęcia zostaną wydrukowane\, dlatego powinny mieć rozdzielczość nie mniejszą niż 2000 pikseli (krótszy bok). \nSpośród nadesłanych prac na wystawę wybrane zostaną te spełniające wymogi techniczne a także etyczne wpisane w regulamin studiów na Uniwersytecie Szczecińskim. \nStudent-day-call – pdf \n  \nThe SH Gallery invites Students and Lecturers interested in photography to participate in a thematic photo exhibition about studying at the intersection of different cultures. \nAt our university\, many people from different parts of the world study together. We meet in the corridors daily and get to know each other during shared academic classes. \nFriendships and connections form\, and we learn about their cultures and customs while they learn about how we function within the culture present at the University\, in Szczecin\, and in Poland. \nLet this photographic exhibition be a contribution to showing similarities and cultural differences. Let it showcase friendships\, acquaintances or everyday life\, which for some is a very natural daily rouatine\, while for others it may be an incredibly interesting and imagination-stimulating exotic experience. Students from other countries\, show us yourselves\, your culture\, what fascinates you in Poland and what surprises you. Local students\, show us your studying experience alongside people from other\, sometimes very different\, cultures. Let’s take a joint journey around the world through the lens of life captured in photographic frames. \nThe exhibition will open during the International Students’ Day\, which falls on Wednesday\, November 20th\, 2024. \nDigital works\, labeled with the creator’s name(s) and title\, should be sent to the curator of the SH Gallery: mikolaj.materne@usz.edu.pl by November 11th\, 2024\, included. The submitted photos will be printed\, so they should have a resolution of at least 2000 pixels (shorter side). \nAmong submitted works\, those meeting the technical and ethical requirements outlined in the regulations of the University of Szczecin will be selected for the exhibition. \nStudent-day-call – pdf
